Bargaining Team
The Bargaining Committee's primary responsibility is to secure the most favorable agreement for our members through skilled negotiation. At the conclusion of a 3-year contract, we gather essential member feedback through surveys and prioritize articles based on the results. As a member-driven organization, the SAEA president and Executive Board empower the committee to negotiate on our members' behalf. While Wages and Wage Provisions, as well as Employee Benefits, typically rank highest in member priorities, we also consider survey data to identify the two additional articles that are most critical to our members' needs, ensuring that negotiations always reflect their best interests.
